Football Bet Builder is an independent, UK-built statistical model, not a tipster. The method and the public verified record, currently 69% across 772 graded picks, are the authority here, not any named individual. Every claim on this site traces to a prediction logged before kickoff and graded in public.
Who, or what, is the author
The predictions on this site are produced by a statistical model, not a person handing out opinions. The model is UK-built and independent: no bookmaker owns it, pays for its calls, or influences which side it leans. Its authority comes from a published method and a checkable public record, not from a personality or a name. By design we do not publish personal details about who maintains it. What matters, and what you can verify, is the method and the results.

How predictions are made
Every market for a fixture comes from one internally consistent model, in three layers: Dixon-Coles measures each team's attacking and defensive strength; a Poisson goal grid turns that into the probability of every scoreline; and the model blends against the bookmaker price, then calibrates itself against real, graded outcomes. There is no separate "gut feel" layer. The full detail is on the methodology page.
Accuracy, verification and corrections
Every prediction is timestamped and recorded before kickoff, then graded win or loss in public once the match finishes. Losing picks are never deleted. The full record is downloadable as a CSV, so anyone can check the numbers rather than take them on trust.

The verified record covers proven leagues only
The headline verified hit rate, and any "verified record" badge on the site, apply only to the leagues and markets the model has genuinely proven, with losses included. Fixtures in leagues we have not yet proven are shown as plain bookmaker prices and an early read, and are never stamped as part of the verified record. This is a deliberate honesty gate: we would rather show less than claim a number we cannot back.
No profit or ROI claims
We never publish ROI, profit, or "guaranteed winner" claims. Probabilities are informed estimates, not certainties. The site is informational and does not take bets. We lead with the verified hit rate and per-market accuracy, which the record can defend, and nothing more.
AI disclosure
The predictions are generated by a transparent statistical model, not by a large language model or a black-box neural net. AI is used only for light editorial polish of the written prose, never to invent a number, a pick, or the record. When we say "AI football predictions", we mean a maths model you can audit, not a chatbot guessing.
Independence and funding
The site is free, with no paywall on the record or the browsing. It is funded by optional bookmaker affiliate links (see offers). Those affiliate relationships never influence which picks the model makes or how outcomes are graded. The editorial side (the model's calls) and the commercial side (affiliate links) are kept separate.
